Obtain Windchill license file

Description

• This article is intended to guide users with the correct permissions, typically Windchill Site Administrator, on how to retrieve a new license file.

Resolution

1. Log in to your PTC web account.
   
   • Click on Manage Licenses.
   • Click on Please click here to create license files for your Windchill and ThingWorx products.
   • Log in again using the Windchill Site Administrator account.
     
     2.Click on Licensing Hosts
     
     • Select the active licensing host for which you want to retrieve the license file.
       
       3. Click Retrieve License File.
       • Click Download – this will download your .bin file.
