How to obtain an updated license pack

To update to the latest license pack to run the latest version of flexnet licensed PTC software

Notes: Ensure you have the proper version of flex prior to attempting an installation of a newer license pack

• As of Creo 4.0 m010, flexnet 11.14 is required
• As of Creo 8.0.0.0, flexnet 11.17 is required
• As of Creo 10.0.0.0, flexnet 11.19.x is required, go to the downloads site to get the latest or consult with EAC for further assistance

1. Login at ptc.com. Go to here
2. Enter your host id into the Licenses portal (To get your host id, look in your license.dat file it will be inside that file)
3. Or, use License Actions, Advanced, lookup your Host IDs and pick from that list
   1. Click Text - you may opt instead for zip, if you are able to unzip a file
   2. Click Retrieve
   3. Watch your email in box, save the txt file (not the standard one) to your desktop to prepare for installation
